Volumes 1 and 2 of The Dave Rave Anthology CDs are the beginning of a series celebrating his musical career thus far. Dave Rave has music to suit every mood from sweet anguish to thoughtful bliss. At first it was challenging to try to piece together a story that celebrates the past and shows the promise of the future. We decided to begin this journey with Volume One or ‘The Hot Tunes’ as I like to call them. These are the hot songs that make you wanna scream, shout, and pogo in your living room. Volume Two or ‘The Cool Tunes’ are the cool yet more laid back tracks good for sipping a martini by candlelight with a good friend. We start each collection with a brand new never-before-released Dave Rave song to show where we are now and then we jump back in time to revisit chronologically his music and work culled from his insanely extensive discography that is sure to bring the listener to moments of sheer ecstasy and utter surrender. This is great music from his time with The Shakers, Teenage Head, Agnelli & Rave, Dave Rave & Mark McCarron, the Dave Rave Group and Dave Rave Conspiracy along with some tremendous collaborations with such musical bright lights as Daniel Lanois, The Trews, The Trouble Boys, John Wesley Harding, Chris Stopa & LMT Connection to name a few.
